Happy Little Slabs locally sources out and salvages timber in the Kootenay region. 

We take pride in making sure we source our wood from trees that have fallen down due to natural events such as storms or danger trees as much as possible. 

We then mill the timber and let slabs air dry for the correct amount of years before placing them into our wood kiln for the last of the drying process. Bringing the moisture content down to the correct number so that the slabs will be stable to create the most stunning piece of art for your home.
